My life isn't all live operations and academic research. Outside of work, I stay active and recharge through endurance sports and remote travel. Over the years, I’ve taken on triathlons, ultra-marathons, and long-distance cycles, alongside trekking through the Himalayas, the Costa Rican rainforest, and the Indonesian wilderness. Having explored over 50 countries, I believe our capacity to learn in these wild environments is limitless.
Stepping into isolated or unpredictable terrain provides a healthy balance to high-pressure work. It reinforces resilience, genuine adaptability, and the ability to stay level-headed and grounded when unexpected situations arise.
